Delicious. Breathtaking. Swoon. These are just a few words that come to mind when I gaze in awe at the perfection that is Sophia Webster.
This young British shoe designer is the genius behind some of the most fantastic pieces of footwear that have ever crossed my eyes. These shoes are beautifully crafted. Featuring wildly insane colors, bold prints, and an array of fabrics, Sophia says, “One of the things I enjoy most about designing my collections is bringing fantasies to life.” And that she does. I’ve died and gone to Shoe Heaven. Take a look.
These beauts will cost a pretty penny though! Anywhere from $200 to $1,000! If your bank account will allow, (or you know someone whose will) SPLURGE!
You can find Sophia Webster in stores and around the web at Sophia Webster, Neiman Marcus, Net-a-Porter, Nordstrom, Saks, and theoutnet.com (least expensive) to name a few. She also has a collection at J. Crew.
Styled by Q. If you want to be stylish while shopping, opt for a pair of roomy slacks that you can take on and off with ease. Paired with a tee and jacket, getting in out out the fitting room won’t be a chore. Throw on some wedges to give you height if your slacks are long. Please don’t let your pants drag the floor! Or wear a trouser that hits you at the ankle and just go for flats. Grab a cute backpack or crossbody to keep personal belongings close-it will be easier than toting a big handbag. HSN has a great handbag guide if you ever need to know what type of bag to carry. If you plan to try on tops, push your hair up in a hat. You”ll be glad you didn’t take time to do your hair only to mess it up as you’re pulling that cute sweater over your head! Finish the look with a lightweight leather jacket and you’re off! Have fun and ohh…bring me something back! Love, Q

I can’t wait for the weather to let up so I’m thinking warm thoughts. I’m ready to get into my skirts and dresses. I’m day dreaming dresses! I’m seeing skirts! They are both the epitome of femininity and class (when worn correctly). Even a simple maxi dress can be classy. When choosing a dress or skirt, I prefer those that hit a bit above the knee or longer (unless its a party night, then I’m definitely going short). I’ve put together a few looks to use as inspiration to get you excited about the warm weather. Love, Q
Styled by Q. This look was inspired by Jasmine Sullivan’s “Bust Your Windows.” While I DO NOT condone busting any man’s windows, I could imagine how a fashionable diva would look while doing such a despicable act. Dressed in all black, gloves to leave no fingerprints and shades to hide her face. Unfortunately, my model, was caught in the act, hammer in hand and booked. Ladies, don’t do it! Love, Q
Hey lovelies! You guys know how much I love changing my hair. Being a naturalista is a fun and exciting journey. I’m getting the chance to switch up my hair , learn about new hair products and my hair is growing like crazy! What I like most is not having to do it everyday. Ain’t nobody got time! I’m a big fan of protective styles, especially in the winter. My hair is usually braided underneath, tucked under a head of hair. I’ve tried so many looks from marley twists, box braids, updos, but now I don’t know what to do next, so I need your help! Here are the 4 styles I’m considering. Please vote in the comments section and choose which hairstyle should be next. I’ll choose whatever get the most votes. Make it a good one!
I’ve been on this non-stop journey of “eating better,” getting into shape, working out, yada yada yada. I’ve started, but I haven’t been able to stick to it. Why is it so hard to stick to doing stuff we know is good for us? I won’t waste too much time wondering why, I’ll just keep pushing at it until I get to where I want to be. Having hypertension, it’s very important that I’m taking good care of myself and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I’ve tried getting a gym membership-thinking it would force me to go. Didn’t work. I’ve looked at youtube workout videos so I didn’t have to go to the gym. Couldn’t stick to it. I even bought Kim Kardashian’s Fit in Your Jeans by Friday videos!!! Never watched em. So we’re two months into the new year and 3 months away from summer. It’s about that time to start again. Of course, I gotta have cute workout gear. 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and get those sit up right!!!! This should get me motivated!
I already know my workout gear will be a factor that keeps me going (don’t judge me, I like clothes, ok). I know I could probably pull some old leggings and grab a big tee but what fun is that. My workout wardrobe will be more like this:

Just wanted to send a quick note to apologize to my readers and followers for the gap and delay of new posts. I started this blog because of my sincere love for fashion and how I love sharing that with others. I always knew how much work it would be, but I promised myself this is what I want to do and will do…no matter what. I realize how much time and consistency is involved so I’m trying my best to keep myself organized and focused. Being a mother, a partner, working full-time, cooking, cleaning-its a heck of a lot to do but I am convinced that I can and will successfully continue to run this blog and bring you my A (or Q) game. I thank all my faithful followers and appreciate your support. Stay tuned for whats to come!
